REC. LEVEL 1 GYMNASTICS CLASSES

*No Experience Required. Ages 6+

For our Rec Level 1 Gymnastics classes our students will learn the basics of Gymnastics on each event. All the while focusing on developing their flexibility, strength and confidence as a whole. Safety is always a priority here at 316 and to ensure this all skills will be spotted by one of our coaches.

REC. LEVEL 2 GYMNASTICS CLASSES

*Minimum 3 months gymnastics experience required. Ages 6+

Our students who have mastered all Level 1 Gymnastics Skills without a spot will be introduced to the next intermediate skill level.

* At least 1 year gymnastics experience required. Ages 8+

Our Rec. level 3 Classes will be for all students who have passed Level 2 Skills without a spot. This will lead into connecting skills as they incorporate jumps and turns into choreography.

PRESCHOOL GYMNASTICS CLASSES

*Mini Stars and Puggles

Mini Stars – This is an hour-long, independent preschool class. Students will learn entry-level gymnastics skills on bars, balance beam, and floor. This structured class will focus on listening skills and taking turns.

Puggles – This is a 45-minute, parent-child class. Students will engage in playtime while developing social skills with teachers and other classmates. Gymnastics techniques will be taught and closely monitored to ensure each child gains important fine and motor skills.

Tristian Rodriguez

Owner - Team Coach

Tristian is both the Owner and One of the Coaches at 316 Gymnastics. He has 12 years of Competitive Gymnastics, 27 years of Competitive Gymnastics Coaching and for 18 years he has held a Judges Certification in the US National Judges Association for Gymnastics.

Tristian is a Wichita Rotary member and has the following Safety certifications: Safe sport, Passed a thorough background check and is certified in First Aid & CPR. His passion is to help Athlete’s develop Confidence, Self Esteem, Strong Character, Fitness, Strength and Flexibility.

Kyle Filiatreault

Men's Head Coach

Competed for 11 years and was a consistent State Champion, 3-time National Qualifier, and placed 2nd on Pommel Horse and 4th All-Around at Region3 Championships in 1998 behind three former Olympians.  In 1997 he received the Bart Conner Award for “Outstanding Gymnast of the Year”.  Kyle has coached at the competitive level for 21 years and has served many years on the Region 3 Developmental Coaching Staff.

He is currently in his 7th year as the KS State Chairmen and USA Gymnastics Region 3 Board member. He focuses on the growth of the sport and assists other coaches in education at the developmental level. In 2019 he received Region 3’s highest honor for a coach and was the recipient of the “Robert Cowan Award” for his hard work and dedication to the sport.

Jeremy Parks

Boys Team Coach

Jeremy competed for 12 years, 4-time State Champion, placed 2nd at the Regional Championships in 1994 and qualified for Nationals the same year.  Jeremy was a member of the WSU Spirit Squad National Team from 1994-98 and a member of the USA Cheerleading team (through WSU) that represented USA at the 1996 Olympic Opening Ceremonies in Atlanta.

Jeremy coaches all levels of the boy’s team and has been a vital part of the success for hundreds of young men in the gym and out including his own 3 boys. Jeremy’s persistence and motivating attitude propels his teams to being a consistent powerhouse at the National level.
