February’s special athlete of the month is…. Allistar!! Allistar is such a hard worker and a huge team player. At only 6yrs old and level 3 competitive gymnast, his coaches are very proud of how far he’s come in gymnastics and we can’t wait to see how far he goes! Congratulations Allistar for being athlete of the month!

August’s athlete of the month is…… Olivia C!! Olivia’s coaches have been blown away by the dedication and determination Oliva has for gymnastics. Her positive attitude and love towards the sport shines through in every session! We love having her here at 316 and we’re so honored to coach her! Be sure to tell her congratulations the next time you see her! Keep working hard Olivia!

This individual has stood out to us during the month in specific ways only their coaches understand!

August’s athlete of the month is none other than…… JULIAN SCHMIDT! Throughout the month, Julian’s attitude and work ethic have set him apart as an exceptional athlete. He has demonstrated steady progression and consistently surpassing his personal bests while simultaneously inspiring his teammates with his drive and positive attitude! His coaches are extremely proud of him and he is well deserving of this recognition! CONGRATULATIONS JULIAN!!

July’s athlete of the month is the amazing Lilliun Rose! Lilliun has been with 316 since 2023 and currently attends our level 1-2 class. Every class her coaches are so impressed with the amount of work, time and dedication she puts in at the gym! She always comes in with the best attitude and tries so hard to be better than the day before. Lilliun shows true leadership qualities and we can’t be more proud to have her in our gym. Congratulations Lilliun, keep up with the amazing work your doing, it will get you far in life!

The first recipient of this award is the one and only, Ben Vardaman! Ben has been doing gymnastics since the age of 2. He currently attends Andover Academy and plans to serve in the United States Navy after graduation with a passion to pursue a career in the Naval Special Warfare! His favorite event is the High Bar as he placed 3rd in the event at Regionals. He also placed 6th on high bar at Westerns and 6th on floor at Regionals! Ben would like to thank his mom Michelle, his sister, nana and his coaches Kyle, Jeremy, Tristian and Londyn for his accomplishments!
